LESSON 2. SOUND EXPLORER'S WALK
It’s a creation workshop for the children living in a world of the flood of information
and excessive images to discover ‘sound’, an important component of our
environment and talk about and restructure it. By acquiring and restructuring the
matter(material) of sound through media which is discovered by the result of our
daily action of ‘listening’, we can learn how to use the media as a tool of the thought
and expansion. By going through this process, we come to recognize the identity of
the space(area) to which you belong in your own way. This is the first step to the
procedure of ‘humanization of technology’ that Nam June Paik
stressed out.
